Submit a Proposal to present at ERCBEC!

The ERCBEC Conference lasts from Wednesday afternoon through Friday, with the bulk of the breakout presentations occurring on Thursday.  You can expect presentations to range from accreditation issues to learning styles, from field-specific techniques to broad behavior management techniques.  The presentations are always varied, always enjoyable, and always rated very highly by the attendees.  Those that attend this conference (from New York to Florida) consistently rate the experience as extremely enjoyable.  There is a kind of temporary family that forms for the duration of the conference, each of us feeding off of the enthusiasm of the others.  Come join the scholarly fun.

On Thursday (the 22nd) lunch will be provided for all.  It is at this function where we normally roll out our keynote speaker.

Who will be this year's keynote speaker?
This year we have taken a new approach to the usual keynote speaker at our Thursday luncheon.  We know that college accreditation issues have smoldering for most of you, and we wanted something that would be a bit more approachable than the normal famous guest.  So we are arranging a panel discussion and Q&A session on accreditation issues.  We don't want to spoil the surprise completely.  However, the discussion will be facilitated by Dr. Andre' M Lubecke of Lander University in South Carolina.  Dr. Lubecke has worked on accreditation panels and has experience with panel facilitation.  I will spill the beans about one other panel discussant: Dr. Mary Gene Ryan.  Dr. Ryan was a Dean at Charleston Southern University, and was in charge of Institutional Accreditation at Aiken Technical College in South Carolina.  She has extensive experience with accreditation issues from students and faculty to administration and staff.  It should prove a most entertaining and enjoyable luncheon.
